ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers were alerted to a crash affecting traffic along Interstate 40 in Albuquerque on Thursday afternoon.
In a post on NMRoads at 12:57 p.m., the New Mexico Department of Transportation said the accident occurred on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 166, near Juan Tabo Boulevard.
The left lane and left shoulder of the interstate were shut down due to the incident. Motorists were advised to use caution when traveling through the area and expect delays.
