ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation alerted drivers to a crash affecting traffic in Albuquerque on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on Interstate 40 eastbound, according to an advisory issued on NMRoads shortly after 8 a.m. The NMDOT said the left lane of I-40 was shut down at mile marker 157 near Rio Grande Boulevard (12th Street)
Motorists were advised to expect delays in the area while emergency crews responded to the scene. There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured.
