Accident in Marshall County leaves 5 injured, including 3 children

MARSHALL COUNTY, IN - Three children were among five people taken to the hospital following a crash in Marshall County on Monday afternoon, WBND reports.

The incident took place at the intersection of Quince Road and U.S. 6 shortly before 3:37 p.m.  Police determined that the driver of a 2008 Chevy Silverado had stopped to make a turn from U.S. 6 onto Quince Road when the driver of a westbound 2019 GMC Terrain failed to yield.

The Terrain then crashed into the back of the Silverado and pushed it into the eastbound lane where it was hit by another Chevy Silverado, a 2017.

The five injured victims were transported to an area hospital, but no details were immediately released on the extent of their injuries.
