Car crashes through backyard wall of family's home in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police and firefighters responded to the scene of a car crash at a family's home in Albuquerque on Saturday night.

According to a KRQE report, the incident happened at a residence off Montgomery Boulevard.  Firefighters told homeowner Jaclyn Broderick that a driver was speeding on the roadway, and the car slammed through the cinder block wall of the home's backyard.  The driver was believed to have been going at over 90 miles per hour at the time of the crash.

The family, with three children, was out of town at the time and no injuries were reported.  But debris was scattered through the yard and in the pool, and some cinder blocks went through windows of the home.
