INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A car crashed into a restaurant in southeast Indianapolis on Saturday morning, forcing it to shut down temporarily.
Wheatley's Restaurant said on its Facebook page that no one was injured in the incident. But the restaurant at 8902 Southeastern Avenue will remain closed because the structural integrity of the building is in question.
The restaurant owners say they are assessing the damage and will have to make significant repairs so that the building is safe enough to resume operations.
There was no word on how long the restaurant would have to remain closed.
