Car crashes into home on northwest side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police and emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash at a home in Indianapolis on Wednesday evening.

Accordng to WTHR, a car slammed into a residence on West 35th Street near Crown Hill Cemetery on the city's near northwest side shortly before 7:15 p.m.

The accident caused two people and two dogs to be displaced, but no injuries were reported.

The occupants of the vehicle left the scene before police and first responders got there, according to the Indianapolis Fire Department. 

The incident is under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
