Car and semi-truck involved in collision on Interstate 465

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - One person was injured in a collision on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis on Tuesday morning, WXIN reports.

According to Indiana State Police, the incident happened at about 2:44 a.m. and involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle. Emergency crews responded to the scene on I-465 east near the exits for I-65 and East Street.

The impact caused the car to overturn onto the highway. One victim was transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
