Bicyclist struck, killed in Kalamazoo hit-and-run incident

KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred late Thursday night.

A report by WZZM states that the victim was a 38-year-old man who was riding a bicycle. Investigators said he was riding in the area of Riverview Drive and B Avenue at about 11 p.m. when hewas struck by a pickup truck.

The bicyclist died at the scene. The driver of the pickup kept going after the accident without stopping to help. The sheriff's office said the vehicle they are searching for is a 1998-2004 Ford pickup truck.
