ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A man died after being hit by a bus while he was riding a bicycle in northwest Albuquerque, KRQE reports.
The fatal collision took place Saturday in the vicinity of 11th Street NW and Mountain Road NW at about 1 p.m. Albuquerque police said a man riding an e-bike went through a stop sign on 11th Street. The driver of a Coach Bus could not stop in time and struck the bicyclist, who died at the scene.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police said the driver did not show any signs of impairment and was driving the speed limit at the time of the incident.
