BERNALILLO, NM - Bernalillo police are seeking help from the public in solving a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred last month.
In a Facebook post, police said the collision occurred Nov. 29 on Avenida Bernalillo at about 12:48 a.m. A juvenile walking on the side of the road was struck and killed by a vehicle going eastbound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are now searching for the driver and the vehicle, which was described as a red Dodge Ram 1500, possibly a model between 2019 and 2024.
