Accident on Interstate 70 slows traffic in downtown Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A crash was causing traffic delays in downtown Indianapolis during Wednesday morning's commute.

The incident, reported by WIBC Traffic at 8:42 a.m., occurred on westbound Interstate 70 at Meridian Street/Illinois. The right lane of the interstate was blocked during the accident response efforts.

Traffic was snarled into the South Split.
