Accident on I-465 slows traffic on south side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident caused traffic delays on the south side of Indianapolis during Wednesday morning's rush hour.

The crash, reported by WIBC Traffic at 8:05 a.m., occurred on westbound Interstate 465 between Emerson Avenue and the Interstate 65 interchange.

The right lane of I-465 was blocked in the area while the wreck was being cleared, slowing traffic going back to Arlington Avenue.
