Accident disrupts traffic in both directions on Interstate 65

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A crash caused traffic delays on the northwest side of Indianapolis during Wednesday evening's commute, according to WIBC Traffic.

An advisory shortly after 5 p.m. said the accident happened on southbound Interstate 65 north of West 86th Street. The left lane of the interstate was blocked in both directions, as emergency vehicles were assisting on the northbound side as well.

Traffic on the northbound side of I-65 was delayed to the 86th Street ramps, while southbound traffic was slowed going back to I-865.
