ARTESIA, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation advised drivers of a crash affecting traffic in a portion of Eddy County on Wednesday morning.
According to a post on NMRoads at 8:45 a.m., the accident occurred along US 285 at mile marker 84, 14 miles north of Artesia. There were single lane closures in effect in both directions of the highway, northbound and southbound.
Drivers were reminded to use caution, slow down, and watch for all emergency personnel and equipment in the area while the wreck was being cleared.
