ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers were advised of an accident affecting traffic along a stretch of Interstate 40 in Albuquerque on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash, reported on NMRoads at 12:30 p.m., occurred on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 162 in the area of San Mateo Boulevard. The left lane and left shoulder of the interstate were shut down for the accident response and investigation.
Motorists were urged to proceed with caution and expect delays when traveling through the area until the wreck could be cleared.
