TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NM - Drivers were encountering traffic delays following a highway crash in Sierra County on Monday.
According to KTSM, the accident happened on New Mexico State Highway 187 in the Truth or Consequences area. The roadway was shut down in both directions from milepost 25 to milepost 26. There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation asked drivers to slow down, obey the posted signs and watch out for emergency crews. NM 187 was reopened later in the day after the scene was cleared.
