MECOSTA COUNTY, MI - Four people were injured Tuesday night when their golf cart was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Mecosta County, WZZM reports.
The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office said a car sideswiped the cart while it was on 100th Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. and then left the scene. A 17-year-old Colorado girl on the cart was flown to a hospital with serious injuries while three other occupants sustained minor injuries.
The sheriff's office posted a photo of the vehicle believed to have been involved in the collision, a newer, white Ford Expedition. Investigators said they now have identified the driver of that vehicle, and thanked the public for their help in leading them to the suspect.
