LAFAYETTE, IN - Four people were taken to the hospital after their vehicle was involved in a collision in Tippecanoe County Wednesday evening, reports WXIN.
Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the scene just north of Buck Creek at about 7:30 p.m. Authorities said the driver of a pickup truck headed east on State Road 25 failed to yield at the intersection with North CR 750 East and crashed into a flatbed truck
Two passengers in the pickup was airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis, one with life-threatening injuries and the other with injuries described as severe.
The driver of the pickup and another passenger were taken to local hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver of the flatbed truck was not hurt in the crash.
