ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers were alerted to an accident affecting traffic in a portion of southwest Albuquerque early Sunday morning.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office issued an advisory at 3:40 a.m. regarding a motor vehicle crash that occurred on 2nd Street near Woodward Road. Deputies arrived at the scene and found that a vehicle had crashed into a pole.
The incident blocked all north and southbound lanes of 2nd Street at Hill Street. Along with the sheriff's office, local firefighters and utility crews also responded to the accident.
