HOWARD COUNTY, IN - A collision involving a truck and a car in Howard County Tuesday morning left two people dead, WTHR reports.
Police were called to the scene in the area of State Road 22 and County Road 750 West in Ervin after the incident was reported at about 6:45 a.m.
According to the police investigation, a driver going north on County Road 750 West went through a stop sign and collided with a Howard County Highway Department truck occupied by two workers who had been clearing debris.
The driver of the car, 20-year-old Vincent Horn of Russiaville, and a passenger in the truck, 51-year-old Danny Bowman of Russiaville, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck, 32-year-old Steven Seward, was taken to an area hospital and listed in critical but stable condition.
