BOONE COUNTY, IN - A two-vehicle collision in in Boone County on Friday afternoon left both drivers injured, one seriously.
WXIN reports a Jeep Cherokee and a Honda Odyssey were involved in the crash, which occurred in the area of State Road 32 and 500 West at about 3:11 p.m. The Boone County Sheriff's Department believes it happened after the driver of the Jeep lost control and crossed over the center line. Road conditions were slick at the time with a snow storm moving through the region.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department said the driver of the Jeep, a 64-year-old man from Lebanon, was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. The driver of the Honda, an Indianapolis resident, sustained minor injuries.
