2 crashes on I-465 slow traffic on south side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Two separate crashes slowed down traffic on the south side of Indianapolis during Tuesday evening's commute.

The accidents, reported by WIBC Traffic at 4:48 p.m., both occurred on eastbound Interstate 465. Two left lanes of the interstate were blocked at Kentucky Avenue, while two right lanes were shut down at the White River.

Traffic was stopped along I-465 from Interstate 70 to the White River while crews were clearing the area.
