GALLUP, NM - One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Gallup on Saturday night, according to a press release from the Gallup Police Department.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Arnold Street and West Highway 66 after the incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. The crash involved a DWI suspect, investigators said.
The area was cordoned off for the ongoing investigation, and traffic was restricted on Arnold Street as well as on Highway 66 in both directions. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes until the scene could be cleared.
