1 injured in rollover accident on E. 56th Street in Lawrence

INDIANAPOLS, IN - Emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious crash in Lawrence on Friday evening, according to WIBC Traffic.

The accident, reported shortly after 6 p.m., happened on E. 56th Street at Franklin Road. Two cars were involved in a collision, and one of the vehicles overturned in nearby woods. Rescuers were attempting to extricate one person from one of the vehicles, and an injury was reported.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
