COATESVILLE, IN - A collision in Hendricks County on Sunday afternoon left one driver dead and another injured, Fox59 reports.
The crash took place at the intersection of State Road 75 and Vontress Street in Coatesville. The Hendricks County Sheriff's Office said the driver of a GMC Envoy was heading south on State Road 75 at about 2 p.m. and crossed into the northbound lanes, where the vehicle collided head-on with a Ford F-150.
The GMC driver was pronounced dead after being taken to Eskenazi Hospital. The Ford driver was taken to the same hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
State Road 75 was shut down for about four hours while the scene was being cleared and investigated.
