ROOSEVELT COUNTY, NM - A multi-vehicle accident in Roosevelt County last week left one person dead, according to the Eastern New Mexico News.
The Roosevelt County Sheriff said four cars and two 18-wheelers were involved in the wreck. It occurred Feb. 5 at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Kakawate Road. No details were released on the identity of the victim.
It was reported that heavy fog at the time was a contributing factor in the crash, which remains under investigation by New Mexico State Police.
