INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police were called to the scene of a fatal crash in Indianapolis on New Year's Eve, reports WTHR.
It happened in the vicinity of Kessler Boulevard and Spring Mill Road on the city's northeast side, where police arrived at about 7:30 p.m. One person, whose identity was not released, was killed. There was no word on what led to the wreck, which is now under investigation.
Over a dozen crashes were reported in the city after snow and cold made for treacherous road conditions. Indianapolis Police reminded drivers to use extra caution on the roads if traveling for the holiday.
