INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A car and a semi-truck were involved in a fatal collision in downtown Indianapolis on Friday morning, WIBC Traffic reported.
A notification at 6:19 a.m. said that the crash occurred on northbound Interstate 65, and caused the semi to catch fire. One person was killed in the wreck. The victim's identity was not released.
The interstate was shut down just past the North Split while authorities and emergency crews responded to the scene. Traffic on I-65 north was diverted to Interstate 70 westbound.
