1 dead after van and SUV collide on north side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police were on the scene of a fatal accident on the north side of Indianapolis on Sunday night, WISH reports.

A car and an SUV were involved in the crash on 86th Street near Township Line Road, outside Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory High School. Police responded to the scene shortly after 11 p.m., and confirmed that one person had died. It was not clear which vehicle the victim had been in.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department fatal crash investigation team is trying to determine the cause of the wreck.
