INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A driver was killed in a crash on the west side of Indianapolis Monday morning, WISH reported.
The accident happened on Interstate 70 near South Warman Avenue at about 8 a.m. An Indiana State Police sergeant said a vehicle headed west on I-70 lost a tire which struck the windshield of another westbound vehicle.
That vehicle went off the right side of the road and ended up on its side near a home. The driver, whose identity was not disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
ISP is investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
