INDIANAPOLIS, IN - One person was killed and three others injured in a collision Sunday at an Indianapolis intersection, reports WXIN.
Police said two vehicles crashed in the area of North Michigan Road and West 51st Street on the city's northwest side. Investigators learned that one of the drivers was heading north shortly before 12:35 p.m. and was trying to make a westbound turn at that location when the vehicle was hit by a southbound car.
A passenger in one of the vehicles died at the scene. Both drivers were hospitalized along with a juvenile passenger, who was listed in stable condition.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
