Two Construction Workers Die In Fall From Indiana Radio Tower
Both men were working on the construction of the 500-foot tower when part of the structure suddenly fell, taking the two men roughly 340 feet to the ground. Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
While both men were wearing safety harnesses, neither were saved by the device. An initial investigation has revealed that the support device for the safety harnesses was not properly installed into the ground and did not stop their fall.
The two men killed in the worker accident have been identified as 29-year-old Ernesto Garcia and 32-year-old Paul Aliss. The other three workers on the job site at the time were not injured.
